“走不走啊老王！”我一边嘟囔着，一边用脚蹬着路边的水泥地，恨不得把这辆破旧的自行车踹飞到天边去。“你赖着我不走，我这儿都快成你的道场了！”门口那个男人闻言，嘴角勾起一抹浅笑，像是看穿了我满腹的不情愿，又像是觉得我的无赖挺有趣。

“怎么，不想跟我走？”他慢悠悠地走到我身边，伸手帮我扶住了差点滑走的自行车，“还是说，你心里其实还挺乐意我留下来的？”

我瞪了他一眼，没好气地说：“得了吧，姚老师。您老人家在我这儿蹭吃蹭喝蹭住都蹭习惯了，现在突然要跟我一起上班，这不符合您一贯的懒散作风啊。”

姚 clasped a hand over his knee joints. "Yeah, my knees are kinda sore," he said with a whiffling sound of complaint, "especially after chasing after human women who claim they're not interested."

I scoffed. "Oh yeah? So what? You think I'm going to carry you all the way to the office?"

"I rather think I can manage on my own," he replied casually, though he leaned on me a bit more than strictly necessary. "After all, I am a god, albeit a slightly inconvenienced one."

"Slightly inconvenienced?" I laughed. "Please. You've been hovering around my apartment like a bad smell for three days straight. Do you even have a job?"

"A job?" He looked thoughtful for a moment. "I suppose I do. I'm a... spiritual consultant."
